Hold up. Hold up.
MARY MCDONNELL is on Twitter and I only just found out?
This is egregious! I must go flog myself at the shrine I have dedicated to her hair, legs, glasses, and all around awesomeness.

What I really hope the writers pick up next season (not that I actually trust them to do this story justice) is that, deep down, Arizona’s issues with Callie cutting off her leg aren’t only about Callie breaking her promise, but about Arizona’s perception of Callie cutting off her leg being Callie giving up on her.
I mean, the woman says it outright. Don’t cut off my leg. Don’t give up on me. Callie promised not to cut off her leg which meant she promised not to give up on Arizona. Callie cut off Arizona’s leg so Arizona sees that as Callie giving up.
I see this at the core of their problems. I think it needs to be acknowledged.
Finishing up my fifth (or sixth?) watch-through of Battlestar Galactica.
Gods. It gets me every. single. time. From start to finish, I can’t think of another show that is, if I may borrow a line from Baltar, perfect.
Particularly after the damage Shonda Rhimes wrought on my second favorite character of all time on Grey’s these past couple weeks, I extra appreciate Ron Moore’s ability to be consistent in his characterization, allowing them to direct the plot, rather than the other way around.
I’ll probably see you next year, BSG. Already looking forward to it.
